Synopsis

The Synopsis of an experiment is a slide with a technical description of the experiment. It should entail with sufficient detail to make the data stored on disk exploitable.

Important aspects are:

  • experimental setting (modalities, responses, any special connections)
  • task description (rationale, number of runs, trials)
  • timing
  • triggers

Prerequisite

Before preparing the Synopsis for an experiment, all the necessary preliminary steps to running an experiment at the MEG-EEG center should have been completed. Only the final version of the experiment has to be documented.
