Discussing organizational tools: this website

Saeed works in a “Saeed’s reporting” sub-folder for his daily work.

Once an app is “mature” enough, it goes into the BRAINLIFE project folder.

It is accompanied with a “tutorial” page.

Discussion about:

  • MNE-pipeline or not: both could be implemented. At the moment, Guio and Saeed have decided to go for single apps. Even Alex does not recommend to use the whole pipeline as a single app. Instead, we should use the pipeline as inspiration for sequences of apps.

  • BIDS or not: problem is that BIDS is multisubject in essence, and BL is single file in essence.

Decision:

  • MNE-pipeline is well structured but too complex to be directly ported into BL.

  • For now Saeed and Guio develop single apps in an “as simple as possible” way.

  • Once they have a complete set of apps, they will need to engineer a complete BL pipeline within a project. The MNE-pipeline will be a great inspiration, especially at this stage.
