These are informal meetings of the local neuroscience community. The program is broadcast via the CENIR mailing lists. During these meetings, a team presents a study project planned to run at the CENIR. The attendance provides feedback and raises eventual concerns about the experimental design. The goal of these meetings is to increase globally the quality of all studies run at the CENIR.

Gold rules of the lundis du CENIR

In all cases, a project presentation is required to run a protocol at the CENIR.

A typical meeting lasts one hour, split in two roughly equally long parts:

  1. The presentation takes place during the first half hour. It must include a state of the art review, presentation of the scientific question, and the experimental design aimed at replying to this question.
  2. The discussion with the audience takes place during the second half hour.
This is not a place for judgment. We strongly recommend presenters to put themselves at risk during this presentation. Presenting weak points, questions and doubts will increase the quality of the experiments.
